We've been homeschooling our kids since the fall of 1995. Homeschooling has had its ups and downs for us, but overall it's been a great experience for the whole family.
As of this writing, Owen is in his 3rd semester as a Harvard Extension School student, currently taking physics and calculus. He is also in a literature group run by another homeschool family, takes guitar lessons, and has a long list of other activities that keep him busy.
RuthAnne is what I've taken to calling "dance track". She's dancing 5 days a week at the Boston Ballet School in Newton and takes other dance classes at Green Street Studio and Boston Dance Company in Cambridge. She's enrolled in a math course at the University of Minnesota Independent and Distance Learning School, is learning German, and will perform in the 2003 Christmas Revels in Sanders Theatre this December.
